Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware and Software Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Manage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on various devices.
- Ensure all devices are updated with the latest security patches and software updates.
- Network and Systems Administration:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Implement and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Technical Support:
- Provide first and second-level support for IT-related issues.
- Assist employees with technical issues related to their workstations, phones, and other IT equipment.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
- Perform regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
IT Projects:
- Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand and address their IT needs.
- Provide training and support for new IT initiatives.
- Asset Management:*
- Track and manage IT assets, mainly software inventory.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and processes.
- Generate regular reports on IT performance, issues, and activities.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT administration role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in managing Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with IT security practices and tools.
- Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies.
