Key Responsibilities:
- Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our in-house Shopify developer
- Review and advise on complex development tasks and integrations
- Step in to resolve roadblocks or performance issues in live or staging sites
- Provide best-practice recommendations on theme customisation, Shopify APIs, and third-party app integrations
- Be available for occasional consultations or code reviews when needed
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify development
- Strong expertise in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery)
- Proven track record with Shopify Plus and custom theme development
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations (3PL linking such as Virtual Stock, Patch Works)
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate remotely with teams
- Ability to respond quickly and efficiently when support is required
Nice to Have:
- Experience with headless Shopify, Hydrogen, or Shopify Functions
- Working knowledge of performance optimisation, accessibility, and SEO
Experience mentoring junior developers or supporting internal teams
